View from My Nomad Office: Rotorua, New Zealand
17 Mar 2014
Every Monday morning I post a photo with a view from my “office,” whatever that happens to be at the moment. Some of them, I imagine, might make you jealous, but others will probably make you grateful for your cubicle and your Mr. Coffee machine. At the very least, you’ll get a glimpse of the digital nomad life.
Today’s view — cozy at the kitchen table of a friend’s house in Rotorua while Cyclone Lusi rolls by outside. (You may think it always rains here, but actually it was gorgeous for like three days before the cyclone. I just don’t do any work while it’s nice…because bikes.)
What do you think? Could you work here?
What’s your office like? Tag your photos with #ViewFromMyNomadOffice and I’ll RT the best. Got a really good one? Submit to syd@sydschulz.com and I’ll feature you here!
Happy Monday!
The view is very calming – I could definitely work here!
What a beautiful view! That must give so much inspiration… although I think it’d make me just want to run outside and explore instead of working ;)
Ah, yes, that is definitely a problem here! Except, at least when I was taking that photo, there was a cyclone out there to discourage me. Haha.
Ooo corner windows – looks like a beautiful place to work! Although I would have to force myself not to get distracted and just stare out of the window all day long…
Lots of inspiration out that window ;)
I’m not sure seeing a photo from anywhere would make me rather be in my cubical :-)
That is quite a view indeed! I love the setup you have: huge windows, big wooden table, and a simple cushy bench. I can definitely work there :)
I totally borrowed your idea this morning, I should’ve tagged you, really! I did a view from my office as I was sat at the train ‘station’ just outside my village hoping that I had enough signal to tweet, G+, facebook and what not my blog post for today. I love these views, another blogger friend does it occasionally too.
At some point I want to feature other people’s photos as well, so feel free to email me any shots you get with a little blurb and I’ll put them up! Train station sounds like quite a romantic office…
