View from My Nomad Office: Rotorua, New Zealand

Every Monday morning I post a photo with a view from my “office,” whatever that happens to be at the moment. Some of them, I imagine, might make you jealous, but others will probably make you grateful for your cubicle and your Mr. Coffee machine. At the very least, you’ll get a glimpse of the digital nomad life.

Today’s view — cozy at the kitchen table of a friend’s house in Rotorua while Cyclone Lusi rolls by outside. (You may think it always rains here, but actually it was gorgeous for like three days before the cyclone. I just don’t do any work while it’s nice…because bikes.)

  1. Ooo corner windows – looks like a beautiful place to work! Although I would have to force myself not to get distracted and just stare out of the window all day long…

  2. I totally borrowed your idea this morning, I should’ve tagged you, really! I did a view from my office as I was sat at the train ‘station’ just outside my village hoping that I had enough signal to tweet, G+, facebook and what not my blog post for today. I love these views, another blogger friend does it occasionally too.

    • At some point I want to feature other people’s photos as well, so feel free to email me any shots you get with a little blurb and I’ll put them up! Train station sounds like quite a romantic office…
