View From My Nomad Office: Nevados de Chillán, Chile

Every Monday morning I post a photo with a view from my “office,” whatever that happens to be at the moment. Some of them, I imagine, might make you jealous, but others will probably make you grateful for your cubicle and your Mr. Coffee machine. At the very least, you’ll get a glimpse of the digital nomad life. Continue reading

View From My Nomad Office: Trail Day

Every Monday morning I post a photo with a view from my “office,” whatever that happens to be at the moment. Although I did most of my “work-work” at the big wooden table I wrote about last week, today I’ve decided to highlight one of the best aspects of being self-employed (or, um, unemployed as some people like to call it)– you can count anything as work. This Monday, the trail was my office. We spent six hours out in the Whakarawarewa (pronounced: fuck-a-rea-rea) Redwoods Forest with photographer extraordinaire Graeme Murray, shooting some pretty rad photos. For important social media branding purposes, or something fancy like that. It was sick, bro.

Here is a meta-picture of Graeme taking a picture of Macky going off a rock. There is also a picture of me going off said rock which will hopefully do the social media rounds one of these days soon. I look pretty badass but what you don’t know is that I landed on my (bad)ass about 2 seconds after the photo was taken. That being the glory of still photography.

What do you think? Could you work in the woods?

What’s your office like? Tag your photos with #ViewFromMyNomadOffice and I’ll RT the best. Got a really good one? Submit to syd@sydschulz.com and I’ll feature you here!

Happy Monday!
