This is not a great photo, but I like it. In fact, I like it a lot, although I’m not entirely sure why. Maybe because there is a sense of motion to it, with the trail extending out of the frame. There is possibility, adventure, something intangible going on here. Or maybe I like it because the sky is not blue, which is, as far as I can tell, a rare occurrence in Laguna Seca.
